Is this product suitable during pregnancy?
Whey is a constituent of Milk the most common form of protein and is a natural component of dairy foods like cheese, Curds, yoghurts etc. and various forms of milk and whey products are routinely consumed during pregnancy and lactation. Currently, there is no strong evidence discouraging the use in moderate of whey protein supplementation during pregnancy and lactation. However we strongly recommend use of Millenium WPI + WPC 1:1 in moderation and reduced dosage during pregnancy and if unsure strongly recommend consulting with your medical practitioner before using the product.
Is this product suitable for diabetics?
There are several trials in the past suggesting that whey protein may have some positive effect in type 2 diabetes. In a 2017 small but well controlled and structured study, it was encouraging to conclude that whey protein may assist in type 2 diabetes. However as diabetes is a medically diagnosed disease state, we recommend use of this product with caution and common sense and under medical supervision.
