Vitamin C cannot by synthesised in the human body. Millenium Calcium Ascorbate Powder provides 900mg of buffered Vitamin C and 100mg elemental Calcium which is water soluble and absorbs well.

Supports healthy immune system function and helps to reduce the frequency, severity and duration of cold and flu's.

Important for the development, maintenance and healing/repair of healthy skin, cartilage, teeth and bone structure.

Provides anti-oxidants, helping to reduce free radicals in the body.

DIRECTIONS

Suggested use below unless otherwise advised by your health care practitioner.

Adults: 1g (about ¼ to ½ to metric teaspoon twice daily).

Children 2-12 years: No more than 1g daily in divided dose or as advised by your healthcare practitioner.

Not to be used in children under 2 years without medical advice.

As with any medication, use in pregnancy strictly under the supervision of your medical practitioner.

At the first sign of allergy or discomfort stop using the product and seek medical advice.

Do not put wet spoon and replace lid tightly after each use.

Calcium Ascorbate is a neutral form of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). Calcium provides a buffering action which means the product is gentle to the stomach without causing excess acidity.

How does your dosage recommendation compare to other Vitamin C supplements available on the market? Do you believe in super-dosage?

Vitamin C intakes as a supplement are generally based on the upper tolerance levels in adults which are around 2000mg daily. We recommend to stick with the daily dosage unless prescribed by your health care professional to achieve a desired saturation effect.

How does this product differ from your other Vitamin C products, being Vitamin C with Hesperidin Complex and Bioflavanoid C Plus Powder?

This product is for those who prefer pure buffered Vitamin C without additional ingredients such as bioflavonoids or homeopathic ingredients. The product is 100% sugar free.

Why does Millenium pharmaceuticals provide this product only in powder form and not in tablets?

It is not possible to produce an equivalent dose of Vitamin C tablet (per gram dose) comparable to the powder. Also tabletting requires additional excipients (fillers) which also happen to increase the cost. Powders do also improve absorption in the body.
